Motion Graphics

Exquisite Corpse

May 2022

For the final group project in my Motion Graphics course in the Spring 2022 semester, we were all asked to create a 5-second clip that demonstrated the feeling of nostalgia.

The clip to the right was my contribution. I was inspired by early 2000s patterns and colors as well as childhood memories of VHS tapes that were prevalent during that time.

Principles of Animation

February 2022

Set of nine squares displaying the principles of animation using simple shapes.

The nine principles (in order of appearance) are Appeal, Anticipation, Exaggeration, Secondary Action, Ease in/Ease out, Follow Through, Squash and Stretch, Arcs, and Staging.

Color-changing Bouncing Circles

August 2021

A short video displaying squash and stretch mechanics in After Effects while simultaneously changing the colors in time with the bouncing.

“Kingdom Dance” Visualised

October 2021

Animated geometric shapes using Adobe After Effects set to Disney’s “Kingdom Dance” from Tangled. This project was a school assignment in my Motion Graphics college course.

This is honestly the project I am most proud of. Whenever I want to show people what motion graphics is, I show them this video first.
