My photography assignment last week was on texture and space(positive and negative). For texture, I had to photograph things that implied texture in some way. And for space, I had to take photos that emphasized positive and negative space.

The photos to the right all show some kind of texture. When looking at these photos, the idea is that you can imagine what the substance feels like just by looking at it.

For this part, I really wanted to emphasize the idea of negative space. Basically negative space is the area in a photo where there seems to be more empty, which gives more emphasis on the subject.
